Mineral decorative finishes – versatile surface textures

Depending on the formulation, mineral decorative renders and plasters contain binders such as lime and cement, together with mineral aggregates such as limestone, marble or quartz. Different grain sizes and application techniques create a range of finishes, from fine textures to more pronounced decorative effects.

Depending on their specified suitability, these products can be used on façades or interior walls. Any requirement for an additional paint coating depends on the product, the system and the intended application.

Ready-to-use finishing products – a choice of textures and colours

HASIT’s ready-to-use finishing renders and plasters offer different binder types, grain sizes, textures and colour options for individual surface designs.

Properties such as water absorption and water vapour permeability vary by product. Selection should therefore take account of the substrate, exposure conditions and the requirements of the relevant render or external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS).

Compatible systems and correct application

Substrate preparation, primer, finishing render or plaster and any subsequent paint coating must be compatible. Correct application requires observance of the relevant technical data sheets and system instructions, including application conditions and drying times.
